DIDACTICS.

This subject has helped me to realize about a lot of points that i haven't thought before.
For example, how to behave with children of different levels that are in the same classroom or how interact with children to make them be confortable with you like teacher and with the class.
How to teach children through different ways, situations, places, tools...
How to react in different situations with your students.
And a lot of things that i have learnt but for me the most relevant has been the way how we have been tought and the new learning about the new ways of teaching and the different forms of learning.I love this new ways of  teaching because i think with this education will have a good development and that is what we have to look for because we are going to be future teachers and the teachers of the future of the world.So a be teacher is the best, because children learn with you ( knowledge and values) and you learn from children new things, that makes your own knowledge richer than before.

SUMMARY-  MY OWN OPINION

With this book I have learnt that this "new teaching way" let students to be adapted  with the pace of work of whole classroom, the different learning aproaches, and the diverse of resources that are preformance at their fingertips.
At the beggining we can see how it shows that in the world are a lot of differences ( i think that the world is diversity, whole of it is diverse).
In each classroom we can notice that are different students some of them are more intelligent, some have shame, some are always on the moon, some are from different countries, some have different religion, thoughts..., some do always hard work but don't get high scores... so this diverse is the base of this new structure.
This diversity is present in classrooms and studens must learn that this is like a tool that will benefit them in their daily life.

And in this book we can realize how teaching in a diversity classroom (how classrooms have been always.), is the biggest oportunity for teachers to implement these different tools that are shown in this book.
What i have understood like the purpose of the book is that students and the teacher have to be linked, that the teacher help them in everything, and during the year he is doing an evaluation of each students ( because is more important the process , step by step, the effort, the enthusiasm...).
An other point that is too important is that the teacher has to do activities where students put all their attention on it because if not is because the teacher hasn't select the correct activity for all students, so he should evaluate the development of the class and try to make activities that make children put all their attention on you.
Make groups of  students that are in different "levels" is a great  way to their own learning because they can share more information, values, thoughts... and contrast it. 
To me this has been the most important  of this book that try to teach teachers to teach .
Students with difficulties have the biggest oportunity with this kind of teaching.

EXPERT GROUPS



This activity has been enterteinment because we have been distributed in two big groups, and one of them must be informed about the diversity (diversity in the classroom) and the other about the cooperation  (cooperative learning).
Each group was divided into few groups, and these groups had to talk about their theme.This is very important because with this activity we have learnt more about these new ways of teaching. We everything was already talked and learning, one of each group changed to an other gorup and then they started talked about their rolls and value it, look for the rights points and the worst ones.Then we discussed with the "opposite" group about this and we had to prepared an activity where our roll had to be present.
What i have learnt about both structures is:


Diversity in the classroom: 

For me, this one has five vital points:   
  1. Teach children to respect others' cultures and values. (I think this is tha main one of this new way)
  2. Help all children learn to function succesfully in a multicultural and multiracial society. (This is like the main steps to children and not just to them because this is for adults too.) 
  3. Develope a positive self-concept in those children who are most affected by racism.(For me this is a big big problem , with this kind of learning and teaching this should dissapear and overcame this problem.
  4.  Help all children experience, in positive ways, both their differences as culturally diverse people and their similarities as human beings. (I think this is the most beautiful about this learning because this is vital in our daily life).
  5. Encourage children to view people of diverse cultures working together as unique parts of while community. (This is like accustom  children to this, teach them that this is the normal not the racism, and doing this children will see this normal.)-(ERIC, diversity in the classroom).



Cooperative learning:

  1. Cooperative structures ensure the interactive between studens of a group. ( If children are doing activities with his partner he will learn more about interaction.)
  2. Positive interdependence:"need contributions from each of my team members if we are doing to succeed."
  3. Promotive, face-to-face interaction:"How I think,talk and act toward my team members will influence how  well we perform."
  4. Individual accountabilty:" Although my team members can help with the assigned task, my individual performance-contribution will shape my grade"
  5. Working affectively together as a team means that i need to improve my interpersonal skills"
  6. Group processing : "Our team has to reflect on this performance and think together about how we might improve."

THE ROLL OF THEACHERS



The most important thing that i have learnt during classes (of Didactics), is the roll that all teachers should have. I love this part, because i am going to be teacher and i like to much this way of teaching. The teacher is just a guide the one that is there to hel children with their mistakes, and with their dudes, he gives to children the required resources to complete their own knowledge.
This job is the best one, but we have to make the most of it. The roll of the teacher in changing and this is a very good step becuase traditional ones, for me, have been bad teachers ( not bad people), that they haven't knowed to teach in the right way.
I hope be a good teacher and make students be confortable with me and learn with me.
An  other thing that i like too much is teach children learn from their mistakes.A mistake is an oportunity to broaden their konwledege, because with this they can be autonomous and effort more than if a teacher say to them the correct option.
 So be teacher is the best but doing in correct form.I have learnt that this is the best way to teach and i will do it like this.I like this way so i think that i can do it better than know.

AUSTRIA'S EDUCATION







Our partner Simona, has said us how education  in her country is. This is very interesting because with this we can be aware between the different types of education. This is brilliant because we can compare both and then think about which parts are better in each type of education and which ones are worse and should be delete.  There the obligatory education is from six years old to fourteen. And the children choose what they want to do for their future, if they want to continue studying or being preparate to work.You can do "bachillerato" like here in Spain, a middle grade, a course for be preparated to work, and like here go to the university. If a child can't pass exams and  has problems, he will be puted in a less course. This is a thing that is very difficult to be disscused but in my point of view this is not fair. What i think that i have learnt about austria's education is that there people are more preparated and have more studies, know more languages... so this is because it is well organised and in Spain education is always changing because  sennior officials don't care about this and they just want to be the goverment of the country. This is very very sad, althought it seems that is changing to a better way, education still hasn't the importance that it should have.

TENS  AND  UNITS:




This activity has been very entertainment to us because we have been a piece of teachers. First we have done groups and then we prepared the activity how to learn the meaning of tens and units for students that are not from the same country , and not have the same language My group made several activities, the first one was an explain what were tens and units with the fingers of the hands ( I think that this is a good way to make aware children the meaning of tens and units).Then we did an other activity with cardboards and the students had to put from an unit to ten units in a ten. The other was of balls of rice and he had a bag that was a ten and students had to put into the bag the ten balls (each ball was one unit).To us this is one of the most important activities because we have been like teachers and we have learnt a lot of things with this like the attention for all students, teaching for different levels, to students with different languages. So this has been a big step to us because we have value a lot of factors that before we didn’t think on that.

UNIVERSAL DESIGN OF LEARNING


We have watched a video of this and it has been very interesting to us.
The first thing that I have learnt with this is that everybody has a different form of learning and we should meet this diversity (designed).
The point where it is focused is to achieve minimize the barriers and maximize the learning of all students.
I have understood that the principles of this are: Strengths, needs and interest. With these three “bases” the universal learning is achieved.
In the video I have seen that there are three primary brain networks come into play:
-RECOGNITION, MULTIPLE REPRESENTATION: (The “what” of learning)-Present information and content in different ways.

-STRATEGIC, MULTIPLE ACTIONS AND EXPRESSION: (The “how” of learning)-Differentiate the ways students can express what they know.

-AFFECTIVE, MULTIPLE ENGAGEMENT: (The “way” of learning)-Stimulate interest and motivation of learning.


ENGAGEMENT: Let students learn form their mistakes.

I have noted that the design of learning has to have goals, methods, materials and assessments. To take away the barriers there are multiple ways: Representation, Engagement, Action and Expression.
